Team—
I understand you all just completed your town hall - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the recent updates. Last time I shared you all a message, I mentioned the following: “I am confident in this team. You all are some of the most driven and talented designers we have had the chance to partner with - and we’re excited for that partnership to continue.”
With your dedication and adaptability, especially over the past twelve months, you repeatedly show that.
The player input from last autumn’s the game testing phase was informative. It confirmed the potential of a action-packed game but made clear we still had refinements needed. It revealed the requirement for a more distinct vision.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve come. You took the input to consideration and revamped the title with a revitalized goal - one that’s positioned to achieve its promise to our players.
The trust in Project ETHOS grows every day. To advance the outstanding development you’ve made, I’m excited to welcome the new hire as the latest Director of the team. After a period of talks, Ben officially joins us on Monday, October 20.
His management and expertise in the competitive gaming field is considerable, having devoted the last 15 years developing and managing some of the most well-known series in gaming, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, and lately, the battle royale hit.
Let’s together in welcoming him in the coming days. We are all looking forward to keep witnessing the evolution of Project ETHOS in the weeks to follow.
